Prof. Mohammed Ali Berawi
General Chair of ADI

Prof. Mohammed Ali Berawi, M.Eng.Sc, Ph.D, is a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. Prof. Ali Berawi was appointed Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation at the Capital City Authority of the Archipelago (IKN) after previously serving as the Chair of the Technology and Innovation Transformation Coordination Division in the IKN Transition Team. He was also involved in the G20 Presidency of Indonesia in 2022 as the Alternate Chair of Science 20. Prof. Ali Berawi is the director of the Center for Sustainable Infrastructure Development (CSID) at Universitas Indonesia and the ASEAN University Network – Sustainable City and Urban Development (AUN-SCUD). He was elected the Chairman of the Indonesian Lecturers Association (ADI) for the 2022-2027. Additionally, Prof. Ali Berawi serves as the Working Group Leader for Smart Cities in the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) Sustainable Cities and Landscapes (SCL). He served as the Secretary of the President’s Advisory Council from 2020 to 2022.

Dr. Po. Abas Sunarya, M.Si
Rector University of Raharja, Indonesia.

Dr. Po. Abas Sunarya, M.Si, is a distinguished academic and researcher in Indonesia, holds a Master’s in Management from Pasundan University (UNPAS) Bandung. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees in State Administration Science, and a doctorate in Public Administration. Dr. Sunarya is the Rector of Universitas Raharja Tangerang. He has contributed to research on developing an eco-friendly creative economy model around the Cirata Reservoir in West Java, enhancing learning quality through the e-IMEi portfolio module, and the application of e-business for SMEs. His works are published in various international journals, highlighting his expertise in management and public administration.

Prof. Dr. Murni Bt. Mahmud
Dean of IIUM

Murni Mahmud, a researcher in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), is interested in research in the areas of interaction design evaluation methods, usability and accessibility of website user interfaces, usability and accessibility of information and technology tools/software for elderly and people with special needs. While enriching her knowledge in HCI, she is interested in research related to Information Systems, the usage of communication and interaction tools.

She is also exploring these research areas: Electronic Government and Mobile Government, Virtual Reality, Software Engineering, Development and Brain Inspire Computing and learning HCI in Malaysian context. She has completed several research projects, which include Evaluation of Islamic Website, Museum and Virtual Reality.
She develop an interest in HCI when she worked with users and computers interfaces during her first job at Exxon-Mobil, Malaysia. Currently, Murni has four research students under her supervision. She taught courses such as Human Computer Interaction, Research Methodology, System Analysis and Design, Information Retrieval Technology, Project Management in Information Technology, Management Information Systems and Database Design and Management. She also supervises Final Year Project I and II and Practical Training/Industrial Attachment.

She is a member of MyHCI-UX, MyAIS, PECAMP, Human Factor and Ergonomic Malaysia (HFEM), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), (professional membership since April 2009), Association for Information Systems, (membership since May 2009) and Interaction Design Foundation.

Presently, Murni is a professor at the Department of Information Systems, Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT). Effective July 2023, she has been appointed as the dean of KICT.

Skilled in Machine Learning, Malware Analysis and Research Trends. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy – PhD focused in Computer Science and engineering.

Prof. Yung-Ming Li
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan

Prof. Yung-Mung Li is a Distinguished Professor at the Institute of Information Management, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Washington (2005), M.S. in Computer Science from University of Southern California (1992), and B.S. in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University (1988). His research interests include network science, Internet economics, and business intelligence. His research has appeared in IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information and Management, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Operational Research, among others.
 
Dr. Li is a former Director of the Institute of Information Management, National Chiao Tung University (2012-2014) and a former President of Taiwan Association Information Systems (2015-2017).
