AUTHOR FOR INFORMATION SUBMISSION

When submitting a paper for publication, it is essential to adhere to the guidelines and requirements set forth by ICCCIT 2024 conference. One crucial aspect to keep in mind is to ensure that your paper meets the minimum standards for acceptance and does not go into auto-rejection (high similarity, bad English, wrong format). To prevent this, authors should carefully read the submission guidelines and pay attention to the specific requirements for formatting, content, and citation style. You should also ensure that your paper is well-structured and clearly written, with a concise and coherent argument. Additionally, you should review your work thoroughly to check for any errors, typos, or inconsistencies. Failure to meet these criteria can result in automatic rejection of the paper, therefore, it is essential to take the time and effort to review and revise your work before submitting it for review.

SUBMISSION PLATFORM
Paper submission is done through the EasyChair system. If you already have an account for EasyChair just login with your existing account. If you don’t have an EasyChair account you can register on the EasyChair Registration Page or during the paper submission process.

SIMILARITY CHECK
Most academic institutions and publishers use plagiarism detection software to check for similarity between submitted papers and existing literature. As a general rule, aiming for a similarity score of less than 20% is recommended. This means that the paper should not contain more than 25% of content that matches other sources, including direct quotes, paraphrasing, and citations. To achieve this, you should carefully cite all sources and use quotation marks or block quotes when directly quoting text from other sources. Additionally, you should ensure that your writing is original and reflects your own ideas and perspectives. It is important to note that similarity scores are just one factor that is considered when evaluating a paper and that other factors, such as originality, relevance, and contribution to the field, are also taken into account.

LANGUAGE
English is the working language of the conference. If English is not your native language, please have your papers read by a native English speaker, or seek online services proofreading to improve the language of your papers. Please note that your paper is subject to further review, and it may be rejected if it is deemed that English of your paper is not acceptable.

PDF IEEEXplore FORMAT

Conference papers are to be submitted electronically (.pdf form), with file size limited to 2 MB. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore® online digital library.

IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®.

The most important issue that every author shall pay attention to is to make sure that all the fonts used in your papers are EMBEDDED and SUBSETTED, especially for papers from Asia and Europe. Failure to embed and subset fonts is the biggest obstacle to PDF compliance with IEEE Xplore® and please ensure that your PDF files comply with IEEE Xplore®. Papers failing to meet the IEEE Xplore® PDF requirements may be rejected.

MINIMUM IEEE PDF REQUIREMENTS

Each PDF for IEEE Xplore® must have all of these characteristics:

  • Be PDF 1.4 (Acrobat 5) or later but not Acrobat 9.
  • Must be created with a PDF distiller. Scanning is not permitted
  • Embeds or subsets all fonts. Doing so helps makes sure that the mathematics appears as intended and improves text searching in the PDF. Please note some TrueType fonts have a setting added by the font designer that prevents the font from being embedded and should be avoided 5.
  • Does not have a password or other security settings.
  • Does not contain any bookmarks or links. Links are supported now only by using a summary.txt, readme file, and a packing list. They appear in the IEEE Xplore® TOC as multimedia.
  • Does not contain crop marks, registration marks, date stamp, time stamp, or any other mark that does not appear in the official version of the publication.
  • Does not contain any PostScript that overrides the settings file.
  • Does not use PDF attachments.
  • Does not consist of a PDF Package or Merged PDF, a PDF 1.7 (Acrobat 8) feature.

Please note that all final papers may be converted using PDFexpress from the following link, in accordance with the IEEE PDF specification. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at www.pdf-express.org or click the following button to register at IEEE PDF eXpress.

INSTRUCTION FOR RECORDING PRESENTATION

ICCIT 2024 will be held in a hybrid format. Each contributed presentation will be an online 5-minute pre-recorded video this year accessible on our virtual platform. Please prepare this pre-recorded video and be available for your scheduled live presentation and the subsequent Q & session with session chairs and attendees.

VIDEO RECORDING GUIDLINES:
We recommend using Zoom to record your presentation, which is widely accessible and user-friendly. The following steps will guide you in creating a high-quality recording:

  1. Length: The video should be 5 minutes long.
  2. Resolution: Set the video for HD format (1280 x 720 or any other “720p” setting).
  3. File Size: Ensure the file size does not exceed 500 MB.
  4. Fonts: Use simple (Arial, Calibri) and large (30+) fonts.
  5. Images: Avoid using high-resolution photos.
  6. Embedded Videos: Do not include embedded videos.
  7. File Naming: Save the video as an MP4 file using your paper ID (two digits) and your last name, formatted as follows: ICCIT_08_Apriliasari.
  8. Logo: Include the ICCIT logo in your presentation.

RECCOMMENDED TOOLS FOR RECORDING:
You may use any meeting software that can produce a high-quality MP4 recording. Here are some resources for common platforms:

Please review your recorded presentation carefully before submission. Once satisfied with the final product, upload it to s.id/FormRecordingICCIT2024

IMPORTANT IEEE POLICY

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (including its removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conferences/workshops/symposia at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and the IEEE Communications society will take action against any author who engages in either practice. Follow these links to learn more:

IEEE Policy on Plagiarism
IEEE Policy on Double Submission

PLEASE NOTE : To be published in the ICCIT 2024 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For an author with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for 1 paper. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ICCIT 2024  Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®.
